All Jewellery engraving is done with a precision laser and text as small as 1mm can be successfully marked, together with intricate graphics. Extra care is taken with jewellery items - another staff member always double checks the setup and alignment.
Gold, silver, platinum, pewter and stainless steel can all be engraved or permanently marked. The colour and style of the finished work is dependent on the material and whether it is solid or plated/coated. In most cases the text and graphics can either be white, black, or deep engraved.

Engraving can be placed on either the inside or outside of round jewellery, or an a flat face such as the top of a signet ring.

The back cover of watches can be engraved. Kelly Engravers has developed an engraving method that does not heat up or deform the watch components.
Greenstone
Greenstone
NZ Greenstone (Pounamu) is beautifully crafted by some very skilled carvers. Many of the pieces suit the addition of simple text such as a name or date. Laser engraving etches a white matt finish on the stone surface.
