FONT SELECTION GUIDE
FONT SELECTION GUIDE
Our lasers and CNC Router can work with any font that runs on a standard computer. However, some things will affect the cost of the job:
Whether the font is free for commercial use.
Whether the font contains overlays that need to be removed. The best advice is to stick with the more commonly used fonts.
Diamond drag or rotary tool engraving is faster and cheaper when specialised single or multi-line fonts are used.
Year & Name entries on cups by default use a simple sans-serif font (e.g. Helvetica, Gothic, Arial, Swiss).
The smaller the engraving, the simpler the text should be. For very small text (less than 1.5mm high) use all Capitals.
If you are struggling to select a font, let us know the purpose and intended location and we will make some suggestions.
